"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!

Yes that is exactly what it means....things to try...things to learn!! I would appreciate it very much if you taught me how to do that. Is it very difficult? I love the effect....very cool!!

LOL...yes I have been in the Paint.NET forum. I'm trying to learn as much as possible so I have some idea of what I'm doing (o; I am new to Paint.NET, the forum and dA and I am all of it so far!!
well sweety you just ask all the questions you want. the paint.net forum is real nice place to learn, LOL! as long as you remember not use undescriptive titles when you ask a question. and oh yes use the search button first so you can at least tell them you tried search but weren't sure what term to search for. LOL!
Thanks OMA. I agree, the forum is a nice place to learn, but I'm leery about asking questions. They have so many rules about posting and with being new to paint.net I don't want to sound stupid. I notice while reading, there are some posts where the person has asked a question thats in the wrong place or too general and then 2 - 4 people jumping on them about it....No thanks!! Thats a big part of why I've come here to see what I could learn through dA members tuts. AND I'm going to try Google to see what else I can find.
ah but are they really jumping on them or just giving them the link to the search buttons etc.
you notice how many members there are (check the bottom of the forum screen) and everyday there is at least 3 or 4 questions that were just asked the day before and the day before that.
I've seen people ask a question in a thread of a plugin that if they just looked at the answer to the person directly before them they'd know what to do.
so the main advise everyone gets is search LOL! there are very few things that come up that haven't been answered at least 20 or 30 times before.
LOL! way I look at it is the more repeat questions and answeres the less time to do tuts.
